Infant Girl’s Gypsy Costume
(Available in child sizes to fit most little girls between 12 and 18 months of age).

This will make a priceless photo. Please do not forget the camera.

The very charming Infant Girl’s Gypsy Costume consists of a knee length bodysuit type dress in pink white and black that features a white peasant top with short puffy sleeves, an attached black vest that ties with a white ribbon in the front and displays a pink bow, and a bright pink and white striped skirt that culminates with jagged edges at the hemline.

A bright pink headscarf is also included with this terrific ensemble but to finish it off, you will need to get her a pair of socks and shoes.

This miniature gypsy is ready with a smile but are you ready with the camera?

Having their lineage traced back to India and Pakistan, today’s Gypsies are found on every continent on Earth but most predominantly in Central and Eastern Europe. They call themselves Roma and their unique language is called Romany which is part of the Indo-Iranian group of languages and is closely related to the languages spoken in North Western India.

Being nomadic, Gypsies have come in close contact with many other cultures and races throughout the ages. However, they have, for the most part, managed to retain their unique cultural and racial identities. They travel in small caravans and stop from time to time to make a living as singers, dancers, musicians, hose dealers and, of course, as fortuentellers.

The biggest Gypsy holiday is celebrated annually in May and it involves a pilgrimage to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer which is in South of France.
